Job Summary: We are seeking to employ a Medical Director to plan and coordinate psychiatric care and other multidisciplinary patient care services provided by the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY (WMC). The incumbent will be a Psychiatrist supervised by the Section Chief of Outpatient Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry.WMC's ACT Team delivers comprehensive clinical and support services to adult individuals living in the County of Westchester who are diagnosed with a Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and whose needs have not been well met by more traditional service delivery approaches.
