Preferred Experience: Proficient at performing fine needle aspiration of the thyroid. This opportunity allows you to practice in an outpatient and inpatient setting. Primary duties shall, diagnosis and treatment, including consultation for patients presenting with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the endocrine or metabolic systems in the outpatient setting and via inpatient consultations. The VA facility has an academic affiliation with the Marshall University. Train fellows, medical students and trainees; call is by phone and work hours are Monday – Friday, 8-4:30 p.m. Position is vacant due to retirement.
