Pulm/Critical Care Opportunities in Albany, NY The Albany, New York Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting Academic Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians. Section Chief & Staff Physician opportunity available! Section Chief will manage the Pulmonary/Critical Care Department. The Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Section is a pillar of the institution and boasts a strong clinical and teaching reputation in the region. Position involves inpatient and outpatient Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine. Duties include: attending responsibilities for the Medical ICU team; Critical Care consultation in Surgical ICU & inpatient consultations for Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. You will have educational responsibilities for fellows, residents & med students. Must be board certified in Internal Medicine, with subspecialty certification in Pulmonary Disease; Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine boards are desirable. You must qualify for an academic appointment at Albany Medical College. Albany Stratton has 148 beds including acute/telemetry with an average census of 75%.
