Cejka Executive Search has been exclusively retained by Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia, to assist in the recruitment of a Director of Physician Practice Management for the growing employed physician medical group. The Director will be a key leader within the organization focused on providing oversight of the integrated Specialty Medicine Services service line to achieve operational efficiency, financial performance, and quality and service excellence. The Director will work collaboratively with physicians, hospital leadership and system executives to grow and expand Navicent Health Medical Group’s presence in the market.

The Director of Physician Practice Management will provide financial, operational and strategic leadership for the integrated Specialty Medicine Services service line. The Director is responsible for establishment and maintenance of regional relationships; marketing and business development; recruitment and leadership development of physician partners; practice operations; budget and financial performance; regulatory compliance; and program management and development. As an integral member of the management team, the Director will participate in the growth and development of the medical group in alignment with the overall strategy of Navicent Health.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years of progressive leadership in practice management; prior service line management experience is highly desirable as is prior academic experience. The ability to work within an integrated delivery system and balance the diverse needs of physicians, the medical group and system to achieve agreed upon organizational objectives is necessary to be successful. Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA/MHA is preferred.
