Mulder Health Care Facility is a licensed, 87-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in West Salem, WI. We have been providing the La Crosse area with quality care in a comfortable environment for over 50 years.
We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a dynamic and experienced professional to oversee the facility’s clinical operations as the Director of Nursing (DON).
The successful candidate for this position will have:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
Possesses a current license as a Registered Nurse by the State without restriction
Proven experience in skilled nursing home environment with at least one year of successful experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing OR Director of Nursing
Excellent knowledge of federal and state survey process
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
Strong organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and all levels of the organization
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully when personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
Must be a supportive team member with a commitment to team-oriented outcomes and quality care
Must be able to relay information concerning a residents condition
A willingness to learn and grow personally and professionally
